During my absence Bug hit a pretty big milestone. He turned 16. As we never know how long he is going to want to stay we sort of winged it as far as the festivities. Okay so there really weren't many festivities but Moo and I made him his choice of meals for the day.
While I had offered to make Aebleskivers he opted for Moo making him German Pancakes. Then we had a mid-afternoon dinner because we weren't sure when Bug's mom would be coming to get him. For the dinner I made The Pioneer Woman's Lasagna, Parmesan Brussels Sprouts, garlic bread, and Molten Chocolate Cake with Whipped Cream.
The Lasagna was as good as the first time I made it and really made his evening and the Molten Chocolate Cake fit Bug's request for a fudgy chocolate cake.
